sounds nice

not sure whether the title fits the music that well

It feels more sorrowful than hateful to me.

but seriously, nice tune.

niiiiiice

real props for this, sounds awesome

reminds me of crash bandicoot up unti lthe vocal sample.

I like it

Some slightly strange panning at points, but i like the composition and the contrast between the slower, more bare secttions and quicker, more full sections.
CPuld possibly do with some more vocals as it is slightly repetetive at points, but good voices choices. Its a good song mate, im off to check out more.

sdfmusic responds:

Thanks for listening man, I'm planning to do more and more vocals because they're such an easy way to add a level of interest to this kind of music.

its alright

A little too repetetive.

And i think dance drums compliment this sort of sound better than the real ones you added.

Some of the voices are a little irritating too, but a good try.

i like it

i think the drum sounds are a little too strong

but the composition is excellent

okay

Drum roll at arouind 30 seconds is good, although possibily a little anticlimatic.

At about 40 something second you remove the ride? why? it makes the music feel a bit bare, especially as you already had that bassline before removing the ride, it just seems a little non-sensical to me.

At about 47/48 seconds in the bass line goes out of tune, it might be your own input but personally i'm not too keen on it.

Strings are quite nice, if a little too powerful, the next melody instrument is also nice, if adding little to the melodic material. ONce again you remove the ride somwhere around here?

The new instrument then seems to get a little quieter at about 1:24, when i beleive it works perfectly well in the foreground of the music, but this might be the nature of the VST

the breakdown works well, sounds nice.

The end becomes repetetive.

and i know its vague, but i just dont like the final string melody you create from 2:44 onwards.

Hopefully that gives you some things to work on.

Keep trying, you've definately got potential.

Squll2 responds:

Thanks for the review, yes I can definatly see all those problems when you say them - it honestly is a bit bare but I just really felt like submitting something.. so yea (= hopefully i can get my nexus plugin up and working soon to make some cool sounds (=

a bit all over the place

never know quite whether to relax, as suddenly a flurry of notes arrive, but i assume this was meant to be.

I like the melody, would nice to hear it returned and developed. And also maybe this arranged for classical instruments, so there are more instruments and its longer.

In some places it seems to suggest a key change nad not change as well. Maybe change this so that it has a new section in a new key?

a22 responds:

Yeah, I realize that the classical passages come a bit out of nowhere and in a hurry, and after them there's this one connecting chord that's supposed to take the song back to the root F, but after all the notes it just seems too fast, should've let it rest there. I don't know about the key change, it's basically all F major with the fast passages in D minor which is the relative minor of F. Also all the underlying harmony gets a bit blurry and blocked out by the lead synth, you can barely hear the bassline and some of the other stuff. I composed this as MIDI and quickly gave it some synth sounds, should've thought it through a bit better. here's a link if you want to take a listen to the MIDI: http://koti.mbnet.fi/a22/constellatio ns.mid (remove the space) Thanks for the review!

nice

reminds of old horror movie suspense music.

And i like the dizziness link, it fits very well. I don't feel its particularly dischordant, however its certainly unnerving.

nameless11 responds:

It is meant to be a more ambient track. So I guess the DnB tag isnt too accurate but the suspense horror kind of thing was the feel I was going for. Thanks for the review as well.

the pannings a little too all over the place

but the melody is catchy, works well as loop, some mroe layers would be nicemaybe?

Purrie101 responds:

Yea-ill prob make a 2.0, hopefully I can remember the beat lol

strange

some very minor choices in the piano (and occasionally ther other instruments) for a happy hardcore song, but sounds very nice, catchy and strongly mixed.

ONESTEPAHEAD responds:

THANKS (BUT NOT TOO SURE WHAT YOU MEAN BY MINOR CHOICES!)

Please rate my songs, I'm new to dance music and some crit would be lovely. I'm also rubbish at naming them, so new name suggestions would be great. =)
